Growing up on the West Coast, Dr. Best dreamed of becoming the best video game player in the world. Sure, he could have dreamed about becoming a magician, or perhaps a lawyer, but nothing compared to being a video game hero. That is, until he discovered exactly why he loved video games so much. The simple truth is, as a kid, video games made him smile. And that’s something Dr. Best wanted to do for people for the rest of his life.
So, after graduating Cal State University in Northridge where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. This was the perfect place for Dr. Best who loves the ocean even more than he loves video games. Following his general dental education, he attended MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Children’s National Medical Center in the District of Columbia for his specialty training in orthodontics.
When Dr. Best isn’t in the office playing practical jokes on his team or perfecting someone’s smile, you can find him outside soaking up the sun and playing with his daughter – Mia, his son – Logan, his best friend (his wife) – Valerie, and his rescue pup – Bella.
Dr. Best is dedicated to caring for the entire patient, not just the smile! and loves that orthodontics is such a rewarding profession.
